The Future and The Most Asked Question

There are a few areas where I would like to focus. Keep checking back here to find the latest status.  They are:

A Social Club for Our Kids - We want to pull together a club (playgroup), for about an hour a week, where children and their parents get together and have fun. We envision the group to be made of up various ages of children who may have a tendency to seek out movement or who may have trouble staying still or who may even be reluctant to participate at all...whatever the issue, it wouldn't matter.  In this group, the parents would be required to join in right along with their child and just have fun, making it as stress-free and enjoyable for the children as possible. It would be full of energy, full of laughter, and every child would be welcome and appreciated--regardless of any social or developmental issue they may have. We think this would serve as a bonding experience for the parents and their children as well as a chance for children to socialize without anyone passing judgment on their behavior or ability.  We're still thinking of how to put something like this together.

Vitamins, Minerals, Supplements - I'm so glad that we had a chance to have some biomed testing done on my daughter early on to determine if there was anything amiss in her digestive area, etc.  Here are the tests we had run:

Hair Elements, Clostridium Difficile, Fecal Metals, Urine Toxic Metals, Urine Essential Elements  from Doctor's Data (tested positive for C Difficile.  Probiotics and glutathione were administered for about a month and she was negative on the follow-up test).

Organic Acid Test from the Great Plains Lab  (this one showed high yeast--a probiotic targeted toward eliminating yeast cleared this up).

Urinary Peptides from the Great Plains Lab (tests for gluten and casein sensitivity) (tested normal--no need for special diet)

Gluten and Casein Sensitivity Stool and Gene Panel, Fecal Antitissue Translutaminase IgA, Quantitative Fecal Fat, HLA-DQB1 Allele 1 and 2  from Enterolabs (wanted to be certain we didn't need a special gluten or casein free diet--she again tested normal).

Krypotopyrrole (Pyroluria) Testing from Direct Healthcare (she tested positive for pyroluria--daily extra zinc and B6 address this).

And for good quality vitamins and supplements, Kirkman Labs is a great on-line company. (The chewable multi-vitamin from Kirkman's and the vitamin C are both great quality vitamins and they taste great).

We do avoid artificial food dyes as much as possible.
